If you are looking for family-friendly fun at the Lake of the Ozarks, look no further than Big Surf Waterpark, Bridal Cave, and Ozarks Amphitheater! These great attractions are tops among the favorite “things to do” for tourists, visitors, and locals. Whether you want a great concert experience, a day of waterslides and the wave pool at the area’s best waterpark, or to experience the natural wonder and history of the lake’s most popular cave, you can’t go wrong spending your “off the lake” time at these great venues.

Big Surf

Zambezi Falls
An exhilarating three-story drop down the Lake’s Largest Half Pipe full of rushing water. Cross your feet, put your chin to your chest, hold tight, and scream – LOUDLY!

Challenger Flumes
Race and rush down dueling 300 feet water slides into a waiting 3-foot-deep catch pool. The yellow flume’s open above, and the blue flume twists and turns in covered darkness.

The Rapids
Whirl and twirl your way down the white water rapids at Big Surf. Start this ride on either the big yellow slide or down below in the first catch pool for a kinder, gentler experience. End up making a big splash in the 3-foot-pool at the end of the rapids.

Space Bowl
The first of its kind in the US, our Space Bowl drops you from a sweet, swift slide into a 30-ft wide bowl that spins you ‘round and ‘round until you drop into an 8-foot deep catch pool.

Ozarks Amphitheater

The Ozarks Amphitheater voted #5 of the Best Live Music Venues in Missouri. The acoustical brilliance of the theater enhances the concert experience for both performer and audience. Since it’s reopening in 2013 this legendary performance space has hosted such greats as Dwight Yoakam, The Eli Young Band, Aaron Lewis and Ted Nugent to name a few. Conveniently located in Central Missouri at the Lake of the Ozarks, this open-air venue has over 10,000 dedicated seats and is surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Bridal Cave

Cool off inside our cave this summer! Guided tours leave every few minutes and last approximately one hour. Tours are conducted over concrete pathways through the Cave’s refreshing 60-degree environment. Park interpreters will lead you and your family through room after room of incredible mineral deposits. Giant columns, delicate soda straws, and massive draperies abound throughout the cave. Millions of years of struggle between water and rock have created this cavern with more onyx formations than any other known cave or cavern. In fact, thousands of school children each year explore Bridal Cave as part of their educational program. A tour through Bridal Cave is a family adventure you will never forget.

Have you planned your getaway to the Lake of the Ozarks yet? Now is the time to schedule your summer vacation! Get it on the books and start planning your adventures with your family. As the Best Lake Attractions, we look forward to helping you make new and exciting memories with your family!
