Make Plans to Attend Pumkin Chunkin' Palooza!🎃

One of the best fall events at the Lake of the Ozarks is taking place on September 24th! Pumkin Chunkin' Palooza is right around the corner & is being hosted at Ozarks Amphitheater again this year. This annual fall event provides the ideal place for family-friendly entertainment & fun. The event was created is geared toward creating a fun atmosphere for families to enjoy each fall. Check out the event details below:

Pumkin Chunkin' Palooza Schedule of Events:

  • Gates open at 10 AM
  • Trebuchet contest to start at 11AM-4PM
  • Trebuchet demonstrations will be held every hour on the hour.
  • Pirate and Magic Shows in the kid's area
  • Lake Area Arts Council Sidewalk Art Contest and Exhibition
  • Pie Eating Contest – Contest will begin at 1:00 pm

Event Activities:

  • Pumkin’ Pie Eating Contest
  • Food and Beverages
  • Local Artisans
  • Trebuchet Demonstrations
  • Talent Contest


Family Events:

  • Face Painting
  • Petting Zoo
  • Bounce Houses
  • On-site Pumpkin Decorating
  • Pirate and Magic Show

Admission Prices:

  • Adults (13 and older) – $8
  • Children 5 to 12 – $5
  • Children Under 5 – Free
  • Family Pass (max if 6 family members) – $20
  • Parking – FREE

This event is organized and presented by the Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary Club and its members, the event is aimed at showcasing the Rotary working together to better serve the lake areas charities, clubs and non-profit organizations.
